Recently a new Instagram account popped onto my feed, Porsche Spotting Adelaide – I was curious and promptly followed. No points for guessing what they post about…

Anyway after various posts things moved into the ‘real world’ a meet was to be held! Whilst initially being known as a Cars & Coffee (Norwood) meet it is now know as Sportscar Sunday (or Sportscars On Sunday SOS) and yes there is an accompanying Instagram account if that is your thing!

Initially I wasn’t sure what to expect but as the day grew closer it soon became clear that there would be some great cars on show. Obviously, Porsche’s would be the focus but there would also be other ‘exotics’ on show. No car was going to be turned away either with a dedicated car park for those who wanted to show their ride.

It was interesting to see some owners rock up well after the event started and expect to be offered a prime park only to be disappointed. I personally have no problems with this but let’s keep looking at more important things!

There was plenty of friendly conversations being had across the park!
It was a nice bonus to see the new Lamborghini Urus! Apparently a few are set for delivery here in Adelaide soon.
There was plenty of new machinery from other marquees to check out.
Pat of 2PJZ fame brought his new Evo out – what a beauty!
This Supra draws me every time I see it…
No words really needed, the V12 sounded like something else!
The 34 had a few nice friends for the morning! This RS6 would be a great daily and Riley from Fast Lane Photography had his Subaru on the other side.

It was good to see local businesses and traders support the event, everything from Bravo Cafe who allowed use of the car park, Zagame for bringing out some of their cars and Carthys Car Care/Auto Finesse who I managed to win a prize pack from for the GTR! (Thanks : D )

I am no Porsche aficionado but there were some great examples on show.
Look into the lights…
People and cars were coming and going all morning ensuring plenty of variety.
These weren’t your average shopping trolleys ha! Got wing?
There were plenty of cars from a variety of genres to keep people interested.
Whale tail if I am not mistaken!
Such a lovely old interior.

Overall by far one of the best car events I have been to all year. A great attitude from most of the participants, some great cars and good times! I strongly encourage anyone who can to come out for a look next time around!

Ps I plan to keep sharing content on my Instagram @kurosorablog (& Facebook) if you are on there I would appreciate a follow! Thanks.
